Ombre is still going strong and I did this card for a feature on Scrapsister’s blog when the site still existed. I used a Memory Box stencil and distress inks to create the ombre background. Once I had all my colours down I added a few splashes of water to the background to give it an even more dreamy effect.
When it came to decorating the card, I went with some delicate seam binding, a few tiny tags and some sequins. Some times that is all that is needed when the focus is on the work done to the background.
