Today, I’ve got a little Christmas bag to share with you. It was made using the new Big Shot Plus machine and the new Sizzix Thinlits Plus Bag, Tall set. The body of the bag is one die and the pattern I’ve used is a seperate die. That means that you can make bag with or without patterns (there are two pattern dies contained in the die set). I lined the bag with a glittery wrapping paper so that the pattern would stand out and because you can never have too much glitter for Christmas.
When choosing to make a pattern in the bag you’ll be faced with the task of removing a lot of little diecut pieces. To that end Sizzix has made a new tool that actually does make the process less frustrating: Die Brush & Foam Pad. This is simply a coarse brush that you roll over that diecut area to release all the little pieces. Clever and functional.
I chose to punch holes through that top of the bag because I wanted to be able to tie it closed using ribbon. You can use coordinating dies to make a paper closing if you want to but I like the extra dimension that the ribbon adds.
For the tag on the bag I used a Christmas tag set released last year especially with Christmas tags in mind. I tied it to the ribbon using some silver and white twine and decorated the diecut heart with a single piece of bling.
Also: Don’t forget that there’s still time to participate in the Sizzix blogger competition for a chance to win the new Big Shot Starter Kit.
this is great
Dorthe har lige købt den der til udstandsningerne. Håber at teste den når vi tager på scrapweekend om små 2 uger. Det er da ret sejt.
Lækker pose. Tænker det er perfekt til et gavekort eller penge
