Yesterday Thor turned 2 and that means that we sent him a birthday card. This year I went with a colourful scene with dinosaurs from Lawn Fawn. The critters are all coloured using PrismaColor pencils and the colours have been blended using Gamsol. I’ve added some white dots to the critters to give them some texture.

K suggested I could have the purple dino nashing on a leaf from one of the palm trees. I achieved this look by cutting into her lips and the placing the leaf between them. It is fun that it is possible to alter the critters slightly in this way.

I made the background using Distress Ink and a handcut “stencil” that forms the clouds in the blue colour. In order to emphasize the clouds, I diecut a few white clouds and added to my sky.
