Today, Charlie and I are posting our monthly Christmas cards over at Operation Skriv Hjem’s blog. I went with a card sporting a fun and happy Santa jingling all the way through a beautiful winter night.
I made the night sky myself combining various colours of Distress Inks, water and paint splashes and a few die cut stars. I dabbed some Wink of Stella around in the night sky to get a bit of shine as well. It is amazing what you can achieve with this technique.
My Santa is coloured using PrismaColor pencils and the colours have been blended using Gamsol. The colours look much more blended in real life… Santa’s beard and the brim of his hat has some Wink of Stella shine, and his belt buckle has been covered with Glossy Accents.
