I’ve once again joined Online Card Classes for their latest class on masking: Mask-erade. Yesterday was the very first day and we dealt with ways of using masking paper. I have wanted to add some masking paper to my stash for a long while but now I finally got around to buying it. Thankfully, it arrived in time for class to begin.
I started by creating my version of a technique presented by Debbie Hughes and I stayed fairly close to her design although I did alter the colours somewhat. I will say that I love how different the three cards turned out – all from just changing the colours.
Because my circle was a little larger than Debbie’s, I felt a need to add a little more flowers and length to the flower arrangement. This was easily done because the flower set has lots of little flowers too.

Super flotte kort.
I love the way you created these beautiful cards! Each one is similar but yet unique in its own way. I, too, followed Debby’s lesson and gave this a try. I like the length on yours.
Gorgeous! You really nailed this technique shown by Debby and your cards top hers in my opinion 🙂
Ps. what masking paper did you get? And is it sticky enough or does it loose its stickiness when placed on top of already inked parts?
Hej Cecilie, your cards are so lovely, great! And I really do like your choice of sentiments and colors. Way to go!
