OCC Clean and Simple 4: Die cut background

For Clean & Simple 4 Yana Smakula inspired us to use diecuts to build backgrounds. Layering diecuts tone on tone on a background is actually something I do often but it is always lovely to have a reason to revisit a technique.

For the design of the card I was inspired by this card but I chose a different colour scheme and a different word die for my background. I stamped the sentiment on a banner and embellished the banner with a heart and a single sequin.

I when I was at it I made sure to make two cards 🙂 It is something I don’t do often enough. It is so much easier to just do multiple cards when and if you have the materials out anyway.
