Make it Monday #90

Once again I decided to play along with Papertrey Ink’s Make it Monday – I am finding these challenges really inspiring and fun. This week Betsy Veldmann showed us how to make a sentiment take center stage by replacing some of the sentiment with diecuts.

I used Snowflake Flurries, a sentiment from In the Meadow and the Block Alphabet die for the larger part of the sentiment. I loved Betsy idea of hanging something from the sentiment so I chose to hang the only red element from the sentiment. Using the Heart Prints dies. I made a small heart that I then suspended from the sentiment using the dotted line from Love Lives Here: Holiday.

I stamped the snowflakes using various cool colours of VersaMagic ink and then I added bling to the center of each flake so give them some sparkle.

Brilliant card. I love how you have arranged those snow flakes, and put just a bit of bling on each. And, the one red heart is such a dramatic touch. Great interpretation of the technique. Wish I though of this one.
