PTI blog hop

Had to join in Papertrey Ink’s blog hop again this month and I had the joy of creating my card alongside the talented Sarah. Sadly we didn’t get our cards until the sun was set and darkness had engulfed us so the picture really isn’t amazing. I’ll update with better pics once the sun comes back tomorrow but since the blog hop is on now – this is the image that will be posted now.

I was inspired by the colours in general – obviously – but what drew my eye the most was the everygreen decorated with red glas balls and I used the tree from Little Bitty Birds as my evergreen with red glass balls. The sentiment is from In the Meadow; a set I am totally smitten with.

The big bow on top of the rails turned into a smaller bow on my card but it is there nonetheless. I really wanted to have some ice skates on my card but I simply didn’t have any in my stash hence the skate-less card.

Now of to see the cards everyone else has created for this challenge.
