Star-flakes

I am playing along with Hero Art’s October contest and I made these two cards using one of the contest sketches. I made the right one first using 6×6 papers while I used regular 12×12 papers for the left card. There’s no doubt I prefer making cards using 6×6 papers since the patterns are smaller and fits the card size better.

This card is made using Authentique papers all from the 6×6″ pad. I love the pattern on the bottom and I would love to be able to buy it in this smaller size without having to buy an entire pad of paper.

This second card is made with a mix of Autentique papers and paper from My Mind’s Eye’s Lost and Found Christmas. I used a different lace as wel but other than that the design of the cards are identical.

The star-flakes are dressed with Martha Stewart’s coarse glitter and I must say it will be a favorite. It is really cool and stays on the projects which is an important quality in a glitter.
